  1. Hi Summer Sailor

Thanks for your note. It is good to be able to keep in touch and to comment on what you are doing. Your photos are always very good and I love it when you write concerning the things you are thinking about. And there are many important things to be thinking about – the Blues (how bad was the game in the weekend?), the Black Caps (the Indian tour will be awesome!), the Breakers (can they go all the way?), the Warriors (I reckon 2009 could be their year). Oh, and then some really important things – the economy (is John Key delivering on his promises?), the Aussie bush fires (is global warming to blame?), and what about the ARC (should they be wasting $1.8 million dollars on Beckham when there are so many families struggling financially in our city?). Whoops, I better stop now. I could go on all day!!

Thanks for the blog – keep up the good work
    Mr H

  2. Interesting what you had to say about the bushfires Mr H. I think I read something about a law the Australian Green Party put through which meant you could not remove vegetation from around your house even if it was dead. I wonder if this could have had a effect on the number of lives lost possibly if this is the case?

The Indian 20/20 series was good. Tendulkar going great guns which is not a good thing for us in the one day matches but he does produce a spectacle to watch!!
