With the battle for Helen Clark’s old electorate heating up I thoguht that it was about time I had my two cents worth on the matter.
I think that Labour’s candidate, David Shearer has a tough battle ahead with his party’s low public popularity and with the Greens puttting forward Russel Norman which is likely to split central-left wing voters.
National, however has an even tougher challenge with it’s candidate, Melissa Lee making a few mistakes and the fact that some people would have preferred former candidate Ravi Musuku. On top of this Act is also standing a strong candidate, John Boscawen, which could provide a few problems.
The award for the best advertising would have to go to the Green’s Russel Norman with the ditty on his signs which goes like this: ” get more muscle, vote for Russel”!!!!
